It has been my pleasure to represent the people of Georgia's 12th District for five terms in the Georgia State Senate. Now I prepare to embark on

Meyer von Bremen, who has 25 years of active law practice and courtroom experience, is chairman of the Senate Special Judiciary Committee and previously chaired the Senate Ethics Committee. He has sponsored and passed numerous ethics laws, tax cuts and anti-crime legislation while serving in the Senate since 1999.
A native of Albany, Meyer von Bremen is a graduate of the Walter F. George Law School at Mercer University in Macon and is a past president of the Dougherty Judicial Circuit Bar Association. He and his wife Peggy have two children. He is active in his church, community and civic groups.
